Guest Speaker: The Peter McVerry Trust
Earlier today we were delighted to welcome two of the Peter McVerry Trust staff in to talk to us about the work they do and about where the funds we intend to raise during our annual Sleep Out will go. It was an insightful and sad talk with lots of the information hard to to take on board. Ireland has a long way to go to help those in need and we intend being part of that push.

Peter McVerry Trust is a national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage.
The charity provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger people and vulnerable adults with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model.
Peter McVerry Trust’s national headquarters are located in Dublin. The charity has a mid-west regional office in Limerick City and a north-east regional office in Drogheda, Co Louth.
In 2018, the charity worked with over 5,800 people and was active in 14 local authorities across Ireland.
