We are running a Creative Thinking and Printmaking workshop online on Friday, April 16th. This is the link to the details of the workshop: http://www.douglashydegallery.com/ty-online-workshop

There are 10 places for TY students only and as you can see on the webpage there is an application process. The online application form is a the bottom the webpage. The places will be allocated randomly with a maximum of one student per school. Half of the places will be allocated for students from DEIS schools which will also be chosen randomly.

The workshop forms part of the gallery’s TY Project. The Douglas Hyde Gallery established a new programme to engage with TY students in a co-production, co-curation and mentoring approach. The aim of the TY Project is to enhance engagement with TY students, whilst playing an active role in developing their skills, capabilities, and creativity. During the first phase of the project, back in November 2020, 10 TY students from across Ireland proposed and developed their own learning and engagement project aimed at an audience of peers, culminating in the above workshop.
